Borrow Debt/Leverage

After creating the Leverage Account, your next steps involve using leverage on your collateral before you can deposit into the DeFi strategies on the platform.

Click "Manage" to open your Leverage Account details.

A. Deposit Collateral

1. Click "Manage" & select "Deposit" tab. Specify the amount you want to deposit as collateral or click MAX. Then click "Approve" and wait for the transaction to be confirmed.

2. Once completed, click "Deposit" and wait for confirmation.

Once confirmed, you will see updated collateral under the "Total Collateral" field in your leverage account which means now you can borrow debt on your collateral.

B. Borrow Debt

Now select the "Borrow" tab. Specify the amount you want to borrow and click "Borrow" to initiate the transaction.

You will see the simulations displayed above the "Borrow" button, which shows the updated Debt, Health Factor, and Leverage Multiple based on your input. In the testnet version, we have limited the leverage to a maximum of 4x, and we will update this capacity soon.
